We believe that any computer should run any piece of software, and have worked toward this goal using the technology of emulation-based virtual machines. Since 1986 we've pioneered techniques to make Atari and Apple Macintosh software run smoothly on newer PCs. Years before Apple made the switch to Intel, our SoftMac was running Mac OS 8 on Dell workstations and even Sony VAIO pocket computers. 
As of August 13th 2007, we are beta testing the 9th generation of Gemulator and SoftMac, bringing Windows Vista compatibility and 64-bit Core 2 support to our flagship products. Linux and Mac OS X based versions are planned for release later in 2008. Download GEMULATOR 9 BETA 4
